Let’s Craft … DIY Spring Decor

Nothing is better than easy DIY’s. I am so ready for Spring Decor aren’t you? I especially love decor that is easy to switch from one season to the next. Everything is basically done; you just have to change it out.

That is the case with this week’s DIY Crafting Home Decor

The 1st project is using the Board & Base. One side was used for St Patrick’s Day, so today I used the other side for a cute saying that reminds me of Spring. Good things do take time; like gardens and flowers and personal improvements.

The 2nd project is to update the inside of a tray I made back at Christmas time. I will use a paper that will cover up what is already there. I used a floral motif for the background that was not very dense in design. I had room for a Inspirational saying that I will see daily. Alittle extra inspiration can’t ever hurt.

Although this is a cigarette box, I love this box so very much. It was in my parents house and i loved watching the ballerinas spin around and around in the mirrors. I also especially loved the inlayed wood that was very popular in the 50’s and 60’s.
